Accessibility Statement

InnoMYLE Jobs is committed to providing an inclusive experience for all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA conformance level.

Our Commitment

Accessibility is a core principle

We believe that everyone deserves equal access to employment opportunities. Our platform is built with accessibility as a foundational requirement, not an afterthought.

WCAG 2.1 AA Compliance

We design and develop InnoMYLE Jobs to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA conformance level. This internationally recognised standard ensures our platform is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users.

Keyboard Navigation

Every feature on InnoMYLE Jobs is fully operable using a keyboard alone. Tab through navigation menus, interact with forms, expand accordions, and submit applications without needing a mouse. Focus indicators are visible on all interactive elements so you always know where you are on the page.

Screen Reader Compatibility

Our pages use semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, and descriptive labels to work well with popular screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver. Images include meaningful alt text, form fields have associated labels, and dynamic content changes are announced appropriately.

Visual Accessibility

We maintain a minimum colour contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text, meeting WCAG AA requirements. Our interface does not rely on colour alone to convey information. Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

Clear and Understandable Content

We write in plain, clear language and avoid unnecessary jargon. Error messages explain what went wrong and how to fix it. Instructions are provided for complex interactions, and form validation messages are descriptive and helpful.

Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is not a one-time effort. We conduct regular audits using both automated tools and manual testing with assistive technologies. We monitor accessibility feedback, prioritise reported issues, and include accessibility requirements in every feature we build.

Technical Practices

How we build for accessibility

Our development team follows established accessibility patterns and best practices. These technical measures work together to create an experience that is usable by the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or assistive technology.

We test with a combination of automated scanning tools (axe, Lighthouse), manual keyboard-only navigation, and screen reader walkthroughs on macOS VoiceOver, NVDA on Windows, and TalkBack on Android.

Practices We Follow
Semantic HTML elements (nav, main, article, section, header, footer) for proper document structure
ARIA roles, states, and properties where native HTML semantics are insufficient
Descriptive link text that makes sense out of context
Skip-to-content links for efficient keyboard navigation
Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
Form labels, legends, and fieldsets for accessible form controls
Alt text for all informational images and decorative image handling
Sufficient colour contrast ratios verified with automated tools
Responsive design that works across screen sizes and zoom levels
No content that flashes more than three times per second
Time limits that can be extended or disabled where applicable
Consistent navigation and identification patterns across pages
Transparency

Known limitations

While we work to ensure full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance across InnoMYLE Jobs, we acknowledge that some areas may not yet fully meet all criteria. We are aware of and actively working on the following:

  • Some third-party embedded content (such as external analytics widgets) may not meet all accessibility requirements. We work with vendors to improve this where possible.
  • PDF documents generated by the platform (such as exported reports) are being progressively updated to meet PDF/UA accessibility standards.
  • Some older content pages are being reviewed and updated to ensure heading hierarchy and landmark usage are fully consistent.

We are committed to addressing these limitations and welcome feedback to help us prioritise improvements.
