In this role, you'll:
Be working as part of Sydney Trains’ Engineering and Maintenance branch within Major Works. Our team delivers a range of major and minor high voltage new construction works, routine maintenance and emergency services that ensure a safe and reliable network for our metropolitan and regional customers.
You’ll carry out the construction of works to an agreed high standard and complete them within set timeframes in accordance with Technical Maintenance plans, TfNSW Construction Standards and Infrastructure Engineering Manuals.

You’re a skilled tradesperson keen to work within a high preforming team supporting our Work Group Leaders and Team Leaders in completing agreed high voltage projects and scopes.
You’re motivated and respect others whilst recognising the importance of community. You love working outdoors and are able to carry out manual tasks to complete tasks according to detailed safety and work instructions.
You’ll have worked in a high voltage construction or heavy industrial environment having completed a Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Underground or equivalent.
You take health and safety as seriously as we do and are passionate about being part of a team that delivers impactful health and safety outcomes so that everyone goes home safely every day.
These are shift-based roles in a 24/7 environment, you will work as part of a team to support our network and as such will be required to work night shift, weekend work, public holidays, overtime and on-call availability as well as living away from home if required.
