About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Consultant to support implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP Plant Maintenance and asset management solutions for a Tier 1 mining client with operations across Australia, Chile, and Canada. The ideal candidate will work closely with maintenance and operations stakeholders to improve asset lifecycle management, reliability engineering, and maintenance planning using SAP technologies. Mining or Energy domain experience required. Candidates must be based in Perth or Brisbane; an initial 1-month onsite period is required for client familiarisation, after which remote work is supported for offshore team coordination.
Responsibilities
Implement and configure SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Enterprise Asset Management solutions in S/4HANA
Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for asset management processes
Configure maintenance planning, work order management, equipment and functional location hierarchies
Support preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance process design
Work on integration with procurement (MM), project systems (PS), and finance (FI) modules
Conduct fit-gap analysis and process improvement initiatives for asset management
Participate in system testing, UAT, and deployment activities
Provide training and documentation for business users and maintenance teams
Support production issues, data migration, and continuous improvement initiatives
