About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance, Treasury & JV Consultant with strong expertise in financial accounting, treasury operations, and joint venture accounting for a Tier 1 mining client with a global footprint across Australia, Chile, and Canada. The ideal candidate will work on implementation, configuration, and support of SAP finance modules while collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver optimized financial processes. Energy domain experience required. Candidates must be based in Perth or Brisbane; an initial 1-month onsite period is required for client familiarisation, after which remote work is supported for offshore team coordination.
Responsibilities
Implement and configure finance solutions in SAP S/4HANA Finance
Configure and support Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) processes including cash management, liquidity planning, and bank communications
Manage and configure Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) processes including equity groups, venture master data, cost allocations, and reporting
Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and SAP solutions
Support end-to-end implementations, system enhancements, and production support
Work with technical teams on integrations, data migration, and reporting
Conduct UAT, system testing, and user training activities
Ensure compliance with financial controls, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards
Provide support for month-end closing, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes
