About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect with strong ITSM expertise to design and implement the ServiceNow platform for a Tier 1 mining client with global operations across Australia, Chile, and Canada. You will lead the architecture of ITSM, ITOM, and service portal solutions, define platform governance, and drive integration with SAP and other enterprise systems. A solid background in ITIL frameworks and ServiceNow platform architecture is essential. Candidates must be based in Perth or Brisbane; an initial 1-month onsite period is required for client familiarisation, after which remote work is supported for offshore team coordination.
Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and design of ServiceNow platform for enterprise IT service management
Design and implement ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request management
Architect ITOM solutions including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management
Define platform governance, instance strategy, and upgrade roadmap
Drive integration between ServiceNow and SAP, Azure AD, and other enterprise systems
Design and configure Service Portal, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management solutions
Establish best practices for platform development, customization, and performance optimization
Collaborate with business stakeholders to align IT service management with operational requirements
Participate in system testing, UAT, and deployment activities
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to ServiceNow development team
